Jack's Art Pofolio

About Me:
I am a freshman student at University of Colorado Boulder, majoring in electrical engineering. While I'm not a big art buff, I've found a sweet spot where my interest and creativity meet. I was raised in a household that taught me to appreciate art, and was influence by my dad, who is currently the curator for the Kirkland Art Museum. Thanks to him, I have always been able to find the beauty in everything. 
Growing up, animals have always held a special place in my heart. Now, I like to use art to portray the beauty of animals, as well as nature. I love sketching simple drawings and find it very peaceful and calming. I never was a huge painter, unlike my dad, but have been attempting to try out a bunch of different forms of art, including a digital art class I am currently taking. I do not have any education in art, and not very much experience, but it is definitely a subject that I find interesting, and would like to learn more about.
I enjoy realistic art, and am always fascinated how good artists can make an array of colors and patterns come to life. I strive to get better and more creative with my art, so that I too can make the art come to life, and show true beauty.
