This project seems like it will be a fun one to do. The first thing that came to my mind when I thought about ways to transition to the animation was to get knocked out by something, which led to the idea of using my dog to "knock me out". My dog is basically a small battering ram with fur, and it is not uncommon for her to charge full speed into you and attempt to take you down. Another thing that brought this to my mind was a few months ago, my mom was grabbing something off the floor, and my 50-pound dog came flying in the room and attempted to jump onto the bed, with no regard for my mom being in the way and went skull to skull with my mom. She hit my mom so hard that it gave her a concussion and she had to take time off of work. While it may be hard to get my spazz of a dog to get the videos right, I'm sure I can easily make her charge me simply by riling her up a little bit. I do need to put more thought into the overall story and especially in what to do for the animation while I am knocked out. I think I am going to try to do us playing around and then we both rush for one of her toys and run into each other, knocking both of us out (she knows how to play dead so I will probably see if I can use that to make it look like she got knocked out too). Then we both go on this crazy made-up adventure together while we are unconscious. Then when it snaps back to reality, I think I'm going to do something like it feels weird and wet on my face in the dream-state and then I jolt awake, and my dog is licking my face or something. Kind of gross to have to do but I think that'd be a cool way to snap out of it. I could also make my dog disappear to show her "waking up" and then she does that. Another thing I really want to try for the animation is those Scooby-Doo scenes where they are running through the hallway with all the doors, and they keep coming out of different doors each time. I think that'd be cool to make, and like have something chasing us.
